Nairobi-Dar es Salaam direct flights launched for seamless regional travel

Kenya Airways (KQ) has taken note of the Public Notice released by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority on the 15th of January 2024, wherein the approval for KQ to conduct passenger flights between Nairobi and Dar es Salaam has been revoked, with the effective date being the 22nd of January 2024.

In response to this development, Kenya Airways is actively involved in discussions with the Civil Aviation Authorities and pertinent government entities in both Kenya and Tanzania. The primary objective of these engagements is to collaboratively identify and implement a resolution that will prevent any disruptions to flight operations between Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, thereby ensuring the continued connectivity between the two locations.
