Spearheaded by Manoj Chacko and backed by industry veterans, this regional carrier boasts a fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft, promising efficient and sustainable air travel options to regional destinations nationwide. Scheduled to commence regular operations from March 18, 2024, Fly91’s inaugural flight from Manohar International Airport, Goa, to Agatti Islands, Lakshadweep, heralds a new era of accessible air travel.

Jettwings Airways:

Headquartered in Assam, Jettwings Airways embarks on a mission to redefine air travel in Northeast India. With a fleet of modern fixed-wing aircraft, including ATR 72-600 turboprop models, this carrier envisions comprehensive connectivity across West Bengal, Northeast India, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh. Founders Sanjive Narain and Sanjay Aditya Singh chart a bold trajectory, with plans to expand the fleet by 42 aircraft over the next five years. Initial operations focus on connecting West Bengal under the UDAN initiative, promising enhanced accessibility for travelers in the region.

Expansion Initiatives:

The surge in tourism to Ayodhya prompts major airlines to introduce new routes, enhancing accessibility to this revered religious destination. SpiceJet, Akasa Air, Air India Express, and IndiGo unveil routes connecting Ayodhya to key cities nationwide, catering to the growing demand for pilgrimage travel.

Air India Express collaborates with AirAsia India to launch domestic flights from Bengaluru to tier-2 cities, with plans for further expansion. Meanwhile, IndiGo broadens its network with new routes spanning Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Lucknow, Srinagar, Jammu, and beyond.
