New land at Universal Orlando will have dream work animation theme

Universal Orlando Resort will open a new land themed to DreamWorks Animation characters next year. The land will be located in Universal Studios Florida.

Universal did not specify an opening date but did say the land would welcome guests in 2024.

Universal stated in a release that as guests step into this new land, their imaginations will run wild as they take in the vibrant colors, sights, and sounds that surround them.

He added that they will share special moments with their favorite characters like Gabby from ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ and explore themed, interactive play spaces and attractions that bring popular franchises like ‘Shrek’, ‘Trolls’ and ‘Kung Fu Panda’ to life in the most imaginatively fun ways.

Universal last week revealed it is planning a Fast & Furious – themed roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood and also released new details about illumination’s Villain – Con Minion Blast, a new attraction coming to Florida this summer
