New Smyrna Beach, FL – Food lovers and art enthusiasts are in for a treat this October as the New Smyrna Beach Area unveils a lineup of unique culinary and artistic events. The inaugural NSB Coastal Catch Restaurant Month, set to run from October 1-31, will highlight the region’s rich maritime heritage with a gastronomic celebration featuring more than 15 top local restaurants.
Each participating eatery, including notable venues like Outriggers Tiki Bar & Grill and Norwood’s Treehouse, will offer special menus spotlighting dishes such as succulent shrimp, savory scallops, and exquisite surf-and-turf, along with other favorites like prime rib and Cajun chicken pasta. Diners can explore these culinary delights through fixed-price three-course menus priced at $39 and $59, meticulously prepared by acclaimed chefs using the freshest local ingredients. The public can start previewing these specialty menus beginning September 16.

Adding to the culinary fervor, the Worth Tasting event will make its grand debut from October 25-28. Hosted at the luxurious Joy by the Sea, this limited-entry culinary weekend promises an exclusive experience with gourmet tours across the area’s top dining spots and bespoke beverage experiences. Highlights include a luncheon featuring Chef MacKenzie Smith, a celebrated local chef and Food Network winner, an olive oil tasting, and an intimate exploration of the New Smyrna Beach Farmers’ Market.
Further blending cuisine with culture, the New Smyrna Beach Area Visitors Bureau and Garden & Gun magazine will host the second annual An Art Affair on October 18 and 19. This immersive weekend event kicks off with a welcome cocktail party at the historic Victoria 1883, showcasing creative cocktails and artwork by Florida artists. The festivities continue with brunch at The Hub on Canal, a self-guided tour at the Plein Air Paint Out festival, and conclude with a Plein Air Dinner at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, offering a multi-course meal paired with fine wines, live music, and the serene backdrop of New Smyrna Beach’s coastal scenery.
