Nonstop Flights from Salt Lake City to Honolulu by Hawaiian Airline

Hawaiian Airlines is set to elevate travel convenience and connectivity with the introduction of nonstop flights between Salt Lake City (SLC) and Honolulu (HNL), starting May 15. The airline’s President and CEO, Peter Ingram, expressed excitement about the strengthened ties between Utah and Hawai’i through this new route.

Utah’s high concentration of Pacific Islanders, around 60,000 residents, makes Salt Lake City an ideal gateway for Hawaiian Airlines, now serving as its 16th gateway city in the continental U.S. Bill Wyatt, the executive director of Salt Lake City International Airport, welcomed the move, highlighting Hawai’i’s popularity as both a vacation destination and a family visit location for Utahns.

The newly introduced flights, HA84 and HA83, promise a seamless travel experience, departing and arriving at convenient times to maximize the guests’ first day at either destination.

In addition to the Salt Lake City route, Hawaiian Airlines is expanding its services from Sacramento International Airport (SMF) with nonstop flights to Līhuʻe (LIH) on Kauaʻi and Kona (KOA) on the Island of Hawaiʻi. The flights, set to commence on May 24 and May 25, respectively, will provide more travel opportunities for residents and visitors alike.

Cindy Nichol, the director of Sacramento County Department of Airports, shared her enthusiasm for the new nonstop flights, emphasizing the significance of the first-ever direct service to Līhuʻe.

Passengers on Hawaiian’s A321neo aircraft can anticipate an authentic Hawaiian experience with complimentary meals and a range of seating options, including 16 luxurious leather recliners in the Premium Cabin, 45 Extra Comfort premium economy seats, and 128 Economy seats. The cabin’s design pays homage to traditional Hawaiian crafts, creating a visually immersive experience.

Furthermore, Hawaiian Airlines is gearing up to provide high-speed Starlink internet on its A321neo fleet, enhancing the in-flight experience for all passengers with complimentary Wi-Fi, starting early next year.
