Novotel Hyderabad hosts ‘Persian Food Pop-Up’ at HYBA

Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (NHCC) is currently presenting a Persian Food Festival in collaboration with Chef Azi Karami at HYBA (Hyderabad Brings Arabia). This festival aims to honor the diverse culinary legacy of Middle Eastern cuisine and will run until December 17, 2023. Chef Azi, renowned for her expertise in Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine, has skillfully curated a menu that seamlessly blends authenticity with modern interpretations, offering an exclusive taste of the Middle East.

The festival menu, designed by Chef Azi, features a wide array of dishes that guide diners through a delightful journey of Middle Eastern flavors, ranging from Mezze Plate to an enticing selection of kebabs and a trio of delights in the main course. Traditional Persian dishes like Soup Shir o Gharch, Rubiyeh Soup, Zaffran Cottage Cheese, Phaldari, Joojeh, Persian Koobideh, Veg Zereshk Polo, Zereshk Polo ba Morgh, and Bhagali Polo with Shred Mutton Raan contribute to the festival’s authenticity. The dessert selection, including Kunafa, Baklava, and Iranian Ice Cream, adds a sweet and indulgent touch to the dining experience.

This Persian Food Festival masterfully combines tradition and innovation, allowing guests to explore the rich tapestry of Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine. NHCC’s chefs have collaborated to bring this unique culinary experience, reviving forgotten recipes and satisfying the palate with missed delights.

Mr. Rubin Cherian, General Manager of Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & Hyderabad International Convention Centre, expressed pleasure in hosting the festival, emphasizing the intricate fusion of Middle Eastern flavors. Chef Azi Karami echoed this sentiment, expressing delight in collaborating with NHCC to bring the vibrant tastes of Persian cuisine to guests. Both anticipate that guests will enjoy the diverse and flavorful tapestry of Middle Eastern gastronomy, capturing the essence of the region through exquisite flavors.
