Accor unveils Grand Mercure Jaipur Kukas, blends luxury with heritage

Accor partners with Shree Kamalam to launch Grand Mercure Jaipur Kukas, the 8th in India, blending luxury with Rajputana culture, set to open in 2028.

Accor, a leading global hospitality company with over a thousand establishments in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, has formed a collaboration with Shree Kamalam Elite Resorts Pvt. Ltd. to introduce the Grand Mercure Jaipur Kukas, marking the 8th Grand Mercure establishment in India. This addition is a prestigious expansion to their eminent collection and is expected to welcome guests in 2028, promising an unmatched experience in one of India’s prime tourist regions.

The hotel, encompassing 16,522 square meters, will rise over six floors and feature 160 elegantly designed rooms. It will also house three unique food and beverage venues, including a restaurant, bar, and a signature dining establishment.

To cater to the needs of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE), the Grand Mercure Jaipur Kukas will provide around 2000 square meters of space, including a conference room and two banquet halls. Guests can indulge in various wellness activities, such as a spa and salon, a gym, and a swimming pool during their stay.

Aniruddh Kumar, Accor’s Vice President of Development for India & South Asia, expressed his enthusiasm about the new venture, noting, “Adding Grand Mercure Jaipur Kukas to our expanding Indian portfolio is thrilling. The hotel, with its modern design and immersive cultural atmosphere, is an ideal match for this captivating city. We are eager to present the authentic essence of Rajasthan to our adventurous local and global guests.”

Mr. Madan Meena, a shareholder at Shree Kamalam Elite Resorts Pvt Ltd, remarked, “Joining forces with Accor to launch Grand Mercure Jaipur Kukas is a moment of pride for us. This establishment will be a modern representation of Jaipur’s regal past, showcasing the Rajputana lifestyle blended with international standards.”

The Grand Mercure brand caters to modern travelers seeking luxury and cultural engagement, offering a fresh take on familiar experiences and respectful adaptations of traditional customs. Each Grand Mercure hotel is a celebration of its local culture, highlighting regional culinary specialties, unique beverage traditions, and local rituals to treasure and share.

Presently, Accor manages 61 properties in India, encompassing various brands such as Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, and ibis.
