Now Indians can travel to Turkey without restrictions

Now, one can travel to the very beautiful Turkey, without having to abide by any COVID constraints. As per a recent travel update, the Turkish government has removed every COVID-related constraint for travelers from India. The Turkey Tourism Board said that due to this move, Turkey is optimistic regarding the highest-ever Indian tourists this year. Beforehand, travelers from India had to show a negative RT-PCR test result or vaccination certificate before entering Turkey.

From today, Indian travelers can arrive in Turkey without having to adhere to any requirements, making things much morerelaxed. The country’s tourism board stated that no proof of vaccination or recovery or a negative RT-PCR report will be mandatory for Indians travelers visiting Turkey.

India’s Indigo Airlines and Turkey’s Turkish Airlines have recommenced direct flights to Turkey and are expecting to witness Indian tourists in greater numbers this year. Seemingly, last year, Turkey almost gathered $25 billion in revenue, recording a 103 per cent progression in tourism, ever since the pandemic started to spread in 2020. Turkey witnessedin excess of 30 million international tourists in 2021. This year once again, Turkey is set to make a new record.

Among this enormoustourist number, 50000 were Indian travelers! This is why Turkey is much optimistic regarding a full tourism recovery this year, with peoplemore eager to travel and experience unfamiliar destinations.
