Odisha Tourism praised by industry experts and tycoons

The Make in Odisha Conclave 2018 has given a big platform to the Odisha Tourism sector, and it has been praised a lot by industry experts. The experts have praised the state’s art, crafts, culture and architecture.

The Aditya Birla Group chairman Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla lauded the Baliyatra festival held on the banks of Mahanadi River, the Sun Temple in Konark and the Jagannath Temple in Puri.

Mr. Sajjan Jindal, the chairman of JSW Group, visiting the Sun Temple for the first time with his wife also praised the beautiful heritage structure. Reliance Industries CMD Mr. Mukesh Ambani also praised Konark, saying Odisha needs to be preserved as one of the most globalized places in the country. He also said that new wonders should be created which can match the beauty and grandeur of the Sun Temple.

Kenji Hiramatsu, the Japanese ambassador to India said that Japanese tourists loved the rich culture of Odisha, especially Odissi dance form, seafood, temple architecture and Buddhist tourism.
