On 16th Jan, Tamil Nadu tourism is set to host cultural tour

The tourism department of Tamil Nadu is hosting a cultural tour for everyone who is interested along with international tourists as well for two days, on 16th January and 17th January to observe the famous Pongal festival.

The tour would display different types of arts and traditions for the tourists. At Thuvariman in Madurai, this cultural tour would happen. On a special bus, the registered public would get on board which would be arranged by the Tourism department on January 16th.

A traditional welcome style will be ushered on the tourists by the villagers and they would be introduced to all the practices that the people of the State follow in observing the Pongal festival.

The next day, the international tourists would be taken to the Alanganallur jallikattu location to see the magnificence of the sport at the native location.

At the Tourist department office, people who are keen could register for the tour which is located on West Veli Street in Madurai. All they have to do is to produce their valid documents.
