Porter Airlines will introduce seasonal roundtrip flights on two fresh non-stop routes connecting Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) with Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
Commencing June 27, the novel YUL-LAX route will operate four times weekly, while YUL-SFO will commence on June 28, offering three times weekly service. Both routes will operate until October 26. These additions open up yet another avenue for travelers to journey between Porter’s extensive Eastern Canada network and the U.S. west coast.
Passengers on these routes can enjoy several service features, including complimentary premium snacks, beer, and wine served in glassware, along with free, fast WiFi accessible to all travelers. Fresh and healthy meals are included with PorterReserve fares or can be purchased separately for those traveling on PorterClassic.
The flights will be conducted using state-of-the-art 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. The two-by-two seating configuration ensures no middle seats on any Porter flight.
The E2 aircraft is recognized as the most environmentally-friendly single-aisle aircraft, being 65% quieter and up to 25% more fuel-efficient compared to previous-generation technology. It boasts the lowest fuel consumption per seat and per trip among 120- to 150-seat aircraft and is currently the quietest single-aisle jet in operation.

The scheduled service will link via YUL to Halifax, Toronto-Pearson, and Toronto-City, enhancing the existing daily non-stop service between Toronto-Pearson and both Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Porter’s codeshare agreement with Air Transat enables convenient connections from YUL to various destinations across Europe, including Paris, London, Rome, and Marseille. This partnership offers passengers greater flexibility and an enhanced travel experience when transitioning between the two carriers.
Travelers arriving in Los Angeles and San Francisco can seamlessly connect to Porter’s partner, Alaska Airlines, and its extensive U.S. West Coast network. This grants access to key markets such as Portland, San Diego, Seattle, and Phoenix.
