PRU to inaugurate new kitchen with ‘Inside-Out’ experience

PRU, the only restaurant in Phuket to have bagged the impressive Michelin star, will provide visitors with front-row seats for the pre-eminent of Thailand with its new pantry inaugurating on November 1.


Headed by Executive Chef, Jimmy Ophorst, PRU has exuded a path for sustainable fine dining in Thailand.
The ‘Inside-Out’ experience, housed in a new tailor- made restaurant, melts the old-style wall between the
pantry and the dining room.


With an open kitchen cheering contacts with visitors, customers would be able to observe how each piece is prepared, thus delivering full clearness of the cooking process.


Chef Ophorst said that they have been enthused by the kappo flair of service, where the conventionalism
amid the chef and his visitors are removed as the chef ‘cuts and cooks’ the freshest periodic constituents
based on connections with each visitor. Ophorst said that they accepted the viewpoint in the new restaurant enterprise to fashion the inside-out experience and bring the guests nearer the finest ingredients that Thailand has to offer.


The restaurant, situated inside the high-class lands of the prized Trisara resort, has ten seats at the kitchen counter where visitors can get to see Ophorst and his team whipping up dishes. Visitors looking for more
space can experience inside-out in the chief banqueting room. Additional seats for select small group events is offered inside The Reserve, which is a private dining room inside a contemporary wine cave housing first- rate collection of more than 200 quality and uncommon wines.
