Denver International Airport (DEN), in collaboration with the Denver Animal Shelter (DAS), has hosted its yearly Puppy Bowl event. This year, six adorable puppies available for adoption took center stage and were showcased in a live stream on DEN’s Facebook page. The puppies spent their time engaging in playful activities, hydrating with water breaks, and taking much-needed naps during the half-time interval.

“It is a pleasure to work with Denver Animal Shelter on DEN’s annual Puppy Bowl,” DEN CEO Phil Washington said. “The Puppy Bowl has become a tradition that makes for a unique and memorable customer experience. It is an all-around win-win as passengers get an experience they’ll never forget and hopefully these puppies find their fur-ever home.”

“We’re so happy to have this Super Bowl-sized promotion of our deserving homeless hounds,” said Melanie Sobel, Director of Denver Animal Protection and the Denver Animal Shelter. “It’s important for our community to know how crucial their support is in maintaining the life-saving services and programs we offer, especially in light of what was a record number of animals that came through our doors in 2023.”

Starting February 15, the six puppies showcased at Denver International Airport (DEN) will be up for adoption on a first-come, first-served basis. The Denver Animal Shelter (DAS), located at 1241 W. Bayaud Ave., Denver, will be open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
