Textron Aviation announces Hinterland Aviation’s purchase of Australia’s first Cessna SkyCourier, enhancing Queensland‘s air service in 2026.

Today, Textron Aviation announced that Hinterland Aviation, a regional airline, has signed a purchase agreement for Australia’s first Cessna SkyCourier passenger model. Slated for delivery in 2026, this addition will enhance Hinterland’s existing fleet of Cessna Grand Caravans by offering increased payload capabilities and additional seating for passengers. The expansion of the fleet is set to provide substantial benefits to isolated communities, as well as to the tourism and business industries in Queensland.

Capable of being flown by a single pilot and boasting a substantial payload capacity, the SkyCourier stands as an ideal choice for cargo, passenger, and specialized mission operations.
