Resorts World Cruises is delighted to extend a warm welcome to Mrs. Octaviana Tasik and her family, who have the distinguished honor of being Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore’s (MBCCS) 2 millionth passenger for the April 2023 to March 2024 cruise season. Their journey begins aboard the Genting Dream, embarking on a 2-night cruise to Kuala Lumpur.

In celebration of this milestone, Mrs. Tasik and her family were personally greeted upon boarding by esteemed figures including Mr. Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises; Mr. Lionel Wong, CEO of SATS-Creuers Cruise Services, the terminal operator of MBCCS; Mr. Jarwin Peralta, Hotel Director of Genting Dream; and Captain Robert Bodin, alongside the ship’s dedicated crew.

As a token of appreciation, Mrs. Tasik and her family were treated to an unforgettable experience aboard the Genting Dream, with a special upgrade to the luxurious Palace Suite. This exclusive ‘ship-within-a-ship’ enclave provided them with unparalleled amenities and services, including priority assistance throughout their voyage, complimentary access to specialty restaurants, exclusive performances, and onboard packages. Additionally, they enjoyed private amenities, a sun deck, gym facilities, and the dedicated attention of the Palace’s signature 24-hour European-style butler service.

“Resorts World Cruises launched its brand two years ago in Singapore, welcoming its first
passenger from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) on the Genting Dream.
Today, we are delighted to be part of this celebration to welcome MBCCS’ 2 millionth
passenger for this season aboard the Genting Dream,” said Mr. Michael Goh, President of
Resorts World Cruises. “We had just launched our new season and we are excited to have
both our ships, the Genting Dream and Resorts World One meet at MBCCS in June 2024 to
offer new sailing destinations to Ko Samui, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Con Son Island and
Redang”, he added.
“SATS-Creuers is proud to have served 2 million cruise passengers at MBCCS this season.
This marks a significant milestone and demonstrates that cruising in Southeast Asia has
become an attractive option for holiday makers. We are happy to welcome the 2 millionth
passenger and we look forward to welcoming many more passengers at MBCCS in the future,”
said Mr. Lionel Wong, CEO of SATS-Creuers Cruise Services.

In the latest lineup of Genting Dream’s seasonal itineraries departing from Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, travelers have a variety of exciting options to choose from. They can opt for the 2 Night Weekend Getaway Cruises departing every Friday, the 2 Night Kuala Lumpur* Cruises every Sunday, or indulge in the 3 Night Phuket Cruises or Penang-Kuala Lumpur* Cruises every alternate Tuesday.

Furthermore, for a limited time offer, Resorts World One will be partnering with Genting Dream in Singapore during the upcoming local school holidays, presenting three special sailings from MBCCS. These include the 6 Day / 5 Night Vietnam Cruise to Ho Chi Minh City (via Phu My) and Con Son Island departing on May 30, 2024, as well as the 6 Day / 5 Night Thailand Cruise to Bangkok (via Laem Chabang) and Ko Samui departing on June 4 and June 9, 2024. Both of these cruise itineraries will also include a visit to the scenic Redang Island in Malaysia.
