In April 2023, Resorts World Cruises made its inaugural voyage from Kaohsiung. Now, we’re thrilled to announce the return of Resorts World One, setting sail once more from both Keelung and Kaohsiung, spanning from July 12th to August 27th, 2024. This year’s itinerary features an array of special 2, 4, and 5 Night Cruises tailored for summer vacationers heading to Kyushu and Okinawa in Japan. Destinations include Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Sasebo, Nagasaki, Naha, Miyakojima, and Ishigaki in Okinawa.

Building on the success of last year’s voyage, Resorts World Cruises played a pivotal role in revitalizing the local cruise sector and attracting a substantial influx of inbound cruise tourists from regions such as Hong Kong, Macao, and Southeast Asia. The previous deployment set new benchmarks for the port of Kaohsiung, boasting a record-breaking 138 cruises and accommodating over 199,000 passengers. Moreover, it facilitated the arrival of over 60,000 tourists to Penghu. Overall, Resorts World One’s 2023 deployment contributed significantly to the tourism economy, generating approximately NT$ 1.6 billion in tourism output.

Buoyed by overwhelming public support and continued backing from local authorities, Resorts World Cruises is poised for a robust comeback this summer. With the unprecedented addition of two homeports in Keelung and Kaohsiung, we aim to diversify our cruise offerings and foster further growth in the cruise tourism industry.

“We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all relevant parties and the support given
from the public towards Resorts World Cruises. We had created new milestones last year and
together, we are confident to achieve greater heights this season. As a show of our
appreciation, we are introducing a total of 14 amazing sailings this season from both the
Keelung and Kaohsiung homeports to the Kyushu and Okinawa Island in Japan”, said Mr.
Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises. “With these new refreshing itineraries and
convenient departure times from two key homeports, we are committed to delivering best-inclass services and entertainment with a variety of quality cuisines and offerings,” he added.

Resorts World One stands out as a premier destination for cruising enthusiasts, offering a unique experience as the sole cruise ship to call Keelung and Kaohsiung home, complete with complimentary access to an onboard Chinese restaurant. Travelers departing from either port can indulge in authentic Chinese cuisine and explore an array of international delicacies at their leisure. From Japanese specialties to Southeast Asian delights, Italian classics, and more, the ship boasts an impressive selection of dining options to cater to every palate.

Adding to its allure, Resorts World One boasts the highest ratio of Mandarin-speaking crew members in the industry, ensuring seamless communication and providing Mandarin signage throughout the ship for guests’ convenience.
With the onset of the approaching new season, Resorts World One announces a range of scheduled departures, providing travelers with seamless options to organize their cruise holidays.
Those seeking a quick weekend escape can embark on the 2-night Japan Okinawa Cruises departing from Keelung on Fridays, including exciting itineraries like the 2-night Miyakojima Cruise, the 2-night Ishigaki Cruise, and the 2-night Naha Cruise.
