Global travel service provider Trip.com Group and Vietjet Air have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance travel convenience worldwide. Collaborative efforts will include featuring Trip.com Group’s offerings on Vietjet’s website, encompassing hotels, airport transfers, attractions, and activities. In return, Trip.com Group will contribute innovative technologies, such as the Virtual Interline solution, to expand Vietjet’s global network and provide insights for informed decision-making.

Additionally, a data integration initiative will integrate loyalty programs, allowing customers to enjoy benefits from both Vietjet SkyJoy and Trip.com Rewards. Members can accumulate reward points for gifts, flight tickets, and incentives from third-party products and services. Emphasizing customer satisfaction, the partnership aims to create a seamless travel experience with a comprehensive range of content, products, and attractive deals.

Mr Yudong Tan, Chief Executive Officer, Flights, Trip.com Group, said: “We are delighted to partner with Vietjet Air, a leading low-cost airline, to offer travellers seamless experiences when planning and booking their trips with a comprehensive range of travel products and deals. We have worked with Vietjet before on successful campaigns to promote Vietnam as a destination of choice for travellers, and believe our mutual commitment to prioritising customer satisfaction is a testament to both companies’ customer centricity. We look forward to a fruitful partnership with Vietjet Air.”

To mark this collaboration, Vietjet and Trip.com Group are offering a special promotion with up to 50% off on airfares until January 22, 2024, applicable to Vietjet’s entire flight network. Booking through Trip.com, www.vietjetair.com, or the Vietjet Air mobile app using specific codes will unlock discounts ranging from 10% to 50% for flights scheduled between March 30 and October 31, 2024.

Vietjet, recognized as one of the world’s top 10 safest low-cost airlines, operates nearly 110 aircraft, serving over 30 international routes and connecting 32 million customers across Vietnam and globally.
