Inter Miami CF’s players are gearing up for a fresh chapter as Royal Caribbean International, the club’s primary partner and official vacation sponsor, takes center stage as the Official Jersey Partner for the upcoming 2024 season. The world’s largest cruise line will prominently feature its logo on every Inter Miami jersey.
At a celebration aboard the highly anticipated cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, the Club unveiled its away kit, La Noche, adorned with the cruise line’s distinctive crown and anchor logo. The event, attended by players, staff, fans, as well as Royal Caribbean and Inter Miami ownership and executives, included a surprise reveal hosted by four-time Emmy award-winning host Mario Lopez. Fans can be among the first to purchase the La Noche jersey with the crown and anchor logo starting at 9 p.m. EST on MLSStore.com, with availability on Icon in February.
Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO Jason Liberty expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing the shared values of dreaming and determination between Royal Caribbean and Inter Miami. The partnership aims to create a vibrant future for both industries, global fans, and local communities in South Florida.
Inter Miami CF Chief Business Officer Xavier Asensi highlighted the significance of the partnership, describing it as a momentous occasion for two South Florida-based powerhouses deeply committed to their community. As the players take the field, the Royal Caribbean logo on the iconic jerseys is expected to resonate with fans in the stadium, across the nation, and worldwide.
The partnership, announced in August 2023, has since seen collaboration across various platforms, including stadium LEDs, in-match content, fan zone activations, and social and digital channels. The unveiling of the front-of-jersey partner and the striking La Noche kit, inspired by the energy of Miami at night, is a testament to the fruitful partnership. More initiatives, both in the local community and on Royal Caribbean ships, are set to unfold, with additional details to be disclosed in the future.
In a separate celebration, Royal Caribbean introduced its latest vacation offering, Icon, during a naming ceremony featuring fútbol legend Lionel Messi. As the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner officially named the ship, Icon of the Seas, the cruise line showcased its first-of-its-kind vacation experience, combining resort getaways, beach escapes, theme park adventures, and more. Icon, debuting on January 27, promises a range of experiences for families and vacationers, including waterslides, pools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and diverse dining and entertainment options.
