Ibiza is about to get louder and more stylish. International Design brings Cosmic Sound, art, music, luxury and collectible design together, creating a fresh cultural draw for travellers.

Ibiza is getting a fresh cultural buzz as International Design launches Cosmic Sound. The new show brings art, music, luxury and collectible design together at Nômade Temple Ibiza. From 30 September to 10 October 2026, visitors can explore DJ consoles, sculptural speakers, sound systems and installations. Meanwhile, live performances, DJ sets, dinners, artist conversations and wellness experiences will add to the atmosphere. Importantly, the exhibition turns everyday music equipment into striking design objects. As a result, travellers can expect more than a conventional gallery visit. Instead, Ibiza gets a new experience where sound, space, design and hospitality meet in one setting.

International Design is launching its new global collectible design platform in Ibiza with ‘Cosmic Sound’, an immersive exhibition at Nômade Temple Ibiza running from 30 September to 10 October 2026.

Ibiza is preparing to host a distinctive new cultural experience this autumn as International Design officially launches with Cosmic Sound, an exhibition that places music, collectible design, architecture and contemporary art within the same physical environment.

Taking place at the recently opened Nômade Temple Ibiza from 30 September to 10 October 2026, the eleven-day exhibition is being presented by International Design in collaboration with Soleille Gallery. The project is curated by Valentina Guidi Ottobri, Manfredi Moretti and Gabriela Soleille, and will bring together unique works by international artists and designers exploring the relationship between sound, space, design and emotion.

Rather than treating collectible design as a conventional gallery display, the project is designed as an immersive cultural encounter. Visitors will experience works within Nômade Temple’s architecture, alongside a programme of dinners, performances, conversations, wellness experiences and DJ sets.

The result is intended to turn the act of viewing and listening into a shared experience, reflecting Ibiza’s long-standing relationship with music while introducing a different perspective on the objects and technologies that make sound possible.

A New Platform at the Intersection of Art and Design

International Design was founded in 2025 by Manfredi Moretti and Jules Guérard, with commercial activity beginning in the second quarter of 2026.

The platform is built around the idea that significant objects exist at the intersection of art, design and culture. Its approach is therefore not limited to displaying individual pieces; instead, it seeks to place collectible works within the environments, communities and cultural moments in which they can be experienced.

That philosophy is particularly relevant to Cosmic Sound. The exhibition moves beyond the conventional perception of audio equipment as purely functional technology. DJ consoles, speakers, sound systems and furniture become objects of design in their own right, with craftsmanship, materials, engineering and aesthetics becoming as important as their practical purpose.

For travellers visiting Ibiza in late September and early October, the exhibition also adds another cultural dimension to the island’s established reputation for music and nightlife.

International Design plans to take its concept beyond Ibiza, with future events planned for Berlin, Paris and New York. The wider ambition is to create a global network connecting collectors, hospitality businesses, artists, designers and cultural institutions.

Why ‘Cosmic Sound’ Is Different

The central theme of Cosmic Sound is the physical and emotional relationship between people and music.

The exhibition will feature objects traditionally associated with music culture but reinterpreted as collectible works. These include DJ turntable consoles, sculptural speakers, engineered sound systems, vinyl-focused furnishings and site-specific installations.

This approach effectively changes the role of audio equipment. Instead of hiding the technology behind the listening experience, the exhibition makes the equipment itself part of the visual and spatial experience.

The concept is closely connected to the professional backgrounds of International Design’s founders. Both Moretti and Guérard have extensive experience as DJs and have worked across international cultural and luxury environments. Their backgrounds have influenced the platform’s emphasis on atmosphere, sound, international audiences and experiential presentation.

For the visitor, this means Cosmic Sound is not simply an exhibition to walk through. Its design is intended to encourage visitors to experience the works through sound, movement, architecture and social interaction.

Nômade Temple Ibiza Becomes Part of the Exhibition

The choice of venue is central to the concept.

Nômade Temple Ibiza will host collectors, artists, cultural leaders and members of Ibiza’s creative community during the exhibition. The venue has been selected for its approach to hospitality as a platform for culture, wellbeing and community, with music positioned as a common thread connecting the programme.

The exhibition will occupy the central temple within Nômade’s architecture. Its earth-toned walls provide the setting for works distributed across different terraces and spaces.

A distinctive blue stripe running alongside the staircases will guide visitors through the venue, creating a visual route through the exhibition. The movement between levels is designed to form part of the experience, with art, design and music deliberately overlapping rather than remaining separate categories.

Some of the installations will also be activated according to a curated events calendar. Among the works highlighted are triangular speakers by Andrea Mancuso and a wood brutalist throne by 22K, designed by Studio S.B. from Ukraine.

This integration of installations, architecture and programming gives the exhibition a strong hospitality dimension. Visitors are not simply entering a gallery; they are entering a venue in which the exhibition is embedded into a broader cultural programme.

From DJ Consoles to Sculptural Sound Systems

One of the most notable aspects of Cosmic Sound is its treatment of the DJ console.

Several designers reinterpret the familiar piece of music equipment as furniture, sculpture or architectural object.

Jacob Egeberg, for example, approaches the DJ console as a form of natural metamorphosis. His work incorporates what is described as a “sonic rock”, using a raw organic element as the basis for an object that connects geological material with technology.

The result challenges the conventional distinction between natural materials and electronic equipment. The console becomes a tactile object in which sound technology is incorporated into a sculptural form.

Another interpretation comes from Jacopo Gonzato in collaboration with Vismara. Their Paloma DJ console combines high-fidelity acoustic technology with a late-1970s-inspired aesthetic.

Its warm, retro silhouette is paired with geometric forms and an emphasis on sound propagation. Technology is integrated into the furniture rather than presented as an independent technical element, creating an object designed to function as both audio equipment and a sculptural centrepiece.

Arielle Assouline-Lichten’s X Deck takes a more minimalist approach. Constructed from polished stainless steel and brass, the DJ console is designed to interact with its surroundings through reflected light.

Its mirror-like surface captures daylight and creates changing patterns of light and shadow, making the console appear less like conventional equipment and more like a kinetic installation.

Meanwhile, YONT Studio takes inspiration from brutalist architecture and Berlin’s underground music culture. Its console is conceived as a monolithic structure, giving sound equipment a substantial architectural presence rather than treating it simply as a functional object.

Sound Becomes a Physical Experience

The exhibition’s scope extends beyond DJ equipment.

Sara Ricciardi contributes a willow-tree sculpture made from hanging golden threads fitted with hydrophones and metal bells. The installation can be activated by wind or by people moving around it, introducing an element of unpredictability and interaction.

Olivia Steele contributes handwritten neon light installations, while Emily Thurman explores sound and materiality through sculptural bronze and metal bell chimes.

Francesco Maria Messina adds a stone work examining architecture and material experimentation.

Together, these works create a broader interpretation of sound. Music is not limited to recorded tracks or electronic equipment; it can also emerge through movement, material, light, architecture and physical interaction.

That perspective is particularly suited to an exhibition staged in Ibiza, where music has long been closely connected with the island’s hospitality and cultural identity.

A Programme Designed Around Culture and Community

Cosmic Sound will also feature a substantial programme alongside the exhibition itself.

Scheduled activities include an exclusive preview, opening and closing dinners, sunset sessions, artist conversations, wellness and NeuroArt experiences, live performances and DJ sets. The programme is being developed with Nômade’s artistic team.

For the travel industry, this is significant because it reflects the continuing evolution of experiential tourism. Visitors increasingly seek destinations and venues where accommodation, dining, culture, entertainment and design can form a connected experience.

The exhibition demonstrates how a hospitality venue can become more than a place to stay or dine. It can also serve as a temporary cultural destination, bringing together international visitors, local creative communities, artists and collectors.

In this context, Cosmic Sound is positioned not merely as an art event but as a cultural travel experience.

International Line-Up of Artists and Designers

The exhibition brings together a diverse group of creators.

The announced roster includes:

The range of practices reflects the exhibition’s central objective: to bring together design, sound, sculpture, technology and spatial experience rather than placing them into separate disciplines.

What It Means for Ibiza’s Cultural Tourism

The timing of the exhibition is also noteworthy.

Scheduled for the transition between September and October, Cosmic Sound offers a cultural proposition beyond the peak summer nightlife season. Rather than relying exclusively on Ibiza’s established club identity, the project adds collectible design, contemporary art, wellness and hospitality to the island’s cultural tourism proposition.

That combination could appeal to travellers interested in design-led experiences and destination culture, as well as collectors and creative professionals travelling specifically for the programme.

It also illustrates a broader trend in luxury and cultural tourism: the growing importance of experiences that combine physical spaces, artistic programming and social interaction.

International Design’s Wider Ambition

Although Ibiza provides the launch setting, International Design is developing the project as a global platform.

The founders’ international backgrounds and experience across luxury, fashion, design, music and hospitality underpin an approach intended to connect collectible objects with international audiences.

The planned expansion to Berlin, Paris and New York indicates that Cosmic Sound is being positioned as the first chapter of a wider programme rather than a standalone exhibition.

That strategy could give the platform an opportunity to develop a distinctive identity at the intersection of collectible design and experiential culture.

Exhibition Details for Travellers

For travellers planning an Ibiza visit around the event, the key details are straightforward.

Exhibition: Cosmic Sound
Dates: 30 September–10 October 2026
Venue: Nômade Temple Ibiza, Ibiza
Presented by: International Design
In collaboration with: Soleille Gallery

The exhibition’s programming means visitors may wish to consider more than a conventional daytime gallery visit when planning their itinerary, as the wider schedule incorporates dining, music, conversations, performances and wellness experiences.

The Bigger Picture

Cosmic Sound represents a deliberate attempt to redefine how collectible design can be encountered.

Its central idea is simple but commercially and culturally relevant: objects associated with music do not have to be viewed solely as equipment. A DJ console can become furniture; a speaker can become sculpture; a sound system can become an architectural statement; and listening can become a spatial experience.

For Ibiza, the concept fits naturally within an environment where music, hospitality and international culture already intersect. For International Design, meanwhile, the exhibition establishes a physical starting point for a platform that intends to connect collectors, designers, artists and hospitality venues across several global cities.

As travel increasingly moves towards experience-led discovery, projects such as Cosmic Sound demonstrate how destinations can use art and design to create new reasons for visitors to travel.

From 30 September to 10 October 2026, Nômade Temple Ibiza will therefore serve not only as the setting for International Design’s debut, but as an active part of the exhibition itself — a space where collectible design, sound, architecture, hospitality and community are intended to be experienced as one connected cultural journey.

The cause is clear: travellers increasingly want experiences that combine culture, entertainment and hospitality rather than isolated attractions. The answer is Cosmic Sound, where International Design brings art, music, collectible design and immersive programming together in Ibiza. The reason is equally strong. Nômade Temple provides a setting where visitors can experience sculptural speakers, DJ consoles, installations, performances and social events within one cultural programme. Furthermore, the exhibition gives Ibiza another reason to attract visitors beyond its traditional nightlife appeal. By connecting sound with design and space, International Design creates an experience that can engage collectors, creatives, music lovers and culturally curious travellers alike during the autumn season.

“Cosmic Sound is a compelling example of how destinations can create fresh reasons for travellers to visit, discover and engage. Ibiza already has a powerful global identity around music, but International Design adds another layer through collectible design, contemporary art, hospitality and immersive experiences. This combination gives visitors something genuinely distinctive to explore. More importantly, the project shows how cultural programming can transform a hospitality venue into a meaningful destination experience. International Design’s debut also reflects the changing expectations of modern travellers, who increasingly value creativity, authenticity and memorable experiences. We believe Cosmic Sound can add valuable cultural energy to Ibiza’s travel landscape.”

Ultimately, Ibiza’s Cosmic Sound is shaping up as more than another seasonal event. International Design is bringing together art, music, luxury, collectible design, sound and hospitality in a format designed around experience. The exhibition at Nômade Temple Ibiza runs from 30 September to 10 October 2026. Visitors can see distinctive DJ consoles, sculptural speakers, sound systems and installations, while a wider programme adds dinners, performances, DJ sets, artist conversations and wellness experiences. Importantly, the project gives Ibiza’s cultural tourism offer a fresh dimension. Rather than relying only on its famous nightlife, the destination can showcase design, creativity and international cultural exchange. International Design also plans future events in Berlin, Paris and New York, suggesting that Cosmic Sound is the beginning of a broader global platform. For travellers, collectors and creative audiences, the Ibiza launch offers a timely opportunity to experience where music, design, art and hospitality increasingly meet.
