Sabre Corporation unveils its latest innovation, Sabre Red Launchpad. This new booking solution is tailor-made for the burgeoning segment of new or independent travel consultants, marking a significant leap forward in the democratization of travel booking technology.

Developed in collaboration with Internova Travel Group, one of the globe’s leading travel services entities, Sabre Red Launchpad is poised to transform how travel advisors interact with and utilize booking systems.

Sabre Red Launchpad, an extension of the widely acclaimed Sabre Red 360, signifies a strategic enhancement designed to streamline the induction process for individuals new to the travel industry. It provides a simplified, lightweight access point for independent consultants who may not yet utilize an aggregator or Global Distribution System (GDS) to tap into Sabre’s extensive travel marketplace. This innovation underscores Sabre’s commitment to reducing barriers to entry for travel professionals, enabling them to offer superior service with a shorter learning curve.

In a pioneering move, Internova will soon introduce a co-branded iteration of this platform—Internova SNAP, Powered by Sabre—to its extensive network of U.S.-based travel advisors. This rollout exemplifies the synergy between Sabre and Internova, leveraging technology to enhance the travel booking experience. The global launch of Sabre Red Launchpad by Sabre in the subsequent months is keenly anticipated, promising wider access to these advanced capabilities.

Kathy Morgan, Vice President of Product Management, Distribution Experience at Sabre Travel Solutions, highlighted the flexibility and choice that Sabre Red Launchpad introduces to the travel agency ecosystem. This innovation allows consultants to start with Sabre Red Launchpad and progressively explore the more advanced features of Sabre Red 360, facilitating a tailored approach to technology adoption within travel agencies.

Sabre Red Launchpad’s intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) mirrors the simplicity of consumer travel apps, offering effortless shopping and booking of air, hotel, and car itineraries. It supports a wide array of content, including NDC offers, low-cost carrier XML, traditional ATPCO/EDIFACT options, and a comprehensive range of lodging content through Sabre’s Content Services for Lodging.

Peter Vlitas, Executive Vice President, Partner Relations at Internova Travel Group, underscored the importance of modern retailing tools that simplify the learning process for new industry entrants. The collaboration between Sabre and Internova on SNAP aims to empower independent agents with technology that aligns with their operational needs.

As Sabre continues to invite more agencies to join its early adopter program throughout 2024, the partnership with Internova, leveraging Sabre’s suite of solutions including NDC, Sabre Red 360, and Content Services for Lodging, highlights a mutual commitment to innovation.
