Sanasaryan Han Unveils Exclusive Packages for Marriott Bonvoy Members

The Luxury Collection, a distinguished segment within Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive array of over 30 exceptional hotel brands, is pleased to announce the inauguration of Sanasaryan Han, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Istanbul. Situated in the heart of Istanbul’s historical peninsula, the city renowned for its captivating blend of East and West cultures, this new addition offers a luxurious retreat amidst the bustling streets.

Originally erected in 1895, the neo-classical architecture of Sanasaryan Han seamlessly intertwines the grandeur of the Old City with Istanbul’s cultural heritage. Designed by Ottoman architect Hovsep Aznavur and commissioned by philanthropist Migirdiç Sanasaryan, the hotel boasts a prime location steps away from iconic landmarks like the Spice and Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Karaköy district.

Following meticulous restoration, the property now showcases a curated collection of artifacts and antiques, preserving its heritage. The interior, adorned with elegant furnishings, mirrors, and contemporary art installations, exudes sophistication. The 63 guestrooms, including 6 suites, offer sweeping views of Istanbul through grand Ottoman arched windows. Each room, tastefully designed with a blend of black, cream, and turquoise accents, reflects the city’s charm and tradition. Handcrafted copper accessories and local postcards further enrich the experience, while spacious bathrooms pay homage to ancient Turkish hammams.

Guests are invited to indulge in Türkiye’s culinary delights at Sini, the hotel’s restaurant, offering traditional dishes in a refined setting. The Library Bar hosts cultural events accompanied by exquisite cocktails and tea tastings presented by the hotel’s Tea Master.
