SAS is gearing up for the upcoming summer season, unveiling plans to service more than 130 destinations across over 40 countries. This summer, SAS enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to, with nine fresh European destinations on the radar. From Copenhagen, travelers can now jet off directly to the sun-soaked shores of Ibiza, the cultural richness of Salzburg, the scenic vistas of Genoa, the Arctic beauty of Tromsø, and the captivating Turquoise coast in Dalaman, Turkey. Adding to this, Bergen will now have direct connections to London, while Oslo expands its reach with new flights to Geneva, Milan, and the charming Montenegrin coast in Tivat.

Erik Westman, SAS’s Chief Revenue Officer, shares his excitement: “Our summer schedule not only ensures smooth travel to major global cities and capitals but also introduces our customers to exciting new vacation spots like Ibiza, Genoa, and Tivat. Alongside these new offerings, we’ve also enhanced our services to popular locales such as Malaga, Florence, Palma, and Alicante. We’re thrilled to present our passengers with a rich tapestry of travel choices for their summer journeys with SAS. We’re eagerly anticipating a bustling summer season and the pleasure of welcoming our travelers aboard.”

Beloved Southern European Destinations

SAS is expanding its reach to perennial hotspots in Spain and Italy, with increased flights from all Scandinavian capitals. From Stockholm and Copenhagen, there will be frequent flights, as many as 20 per week, to Malaga, while Oslo will see up to 17 flights a week to Alicante. Milan will be graced with four daily flights from Copenhagen, and daily services to Florence, alongside up to 25 weekly flights to Nice.

For travelers from Oslo, there will be 14 weekly flights to the Croatian gem, Split, and twice-daily flights from Stockholm to both Milan and Paris during the peak of summer. Additionally, Oslo and Copenhagen will continue to offer year-round flights to the ever-popular Gran Canaria.

Exploring Northern Europe

Copenhagen is set to see a surge in flights to several key European cities, including five daily flights to Düsseldorf, four daily flights to Brussels and Gdansk, and three daily flights to both Warsaw and Vilnius. From Stockholm, travelers can fly to Tallinn up to six times a day and to Vilnius thrice daily. Additionally, Stockholm will double its daily flights to Berlin, increase to six daily flights to Helsinki, and enhance flight frequencies to Turku and Vaasa.

Strengthening Domestic and Nordic Connections

Continuing its commitment to domestic routes, SAS is boosting flight frequencies from Stockholm to Visby, Kiruna, Skellefteå, and Östersund. Over the peak summer period, there will be up to seven daily flights from Copenhagen to Bergen. Oslo will also feature up to two daily flights to Aalborg and four weekly flights to Billund, along with more frequent services to Northern Norway.
