Saudi Cabinet welcomes achievements made by the Kingdom’s tourism segment

The Cabinet of Saudi Arabia welcomed the achievements that were made by the Kingdom’s tourism segment after its World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Travel and Tourism Development Index standing went up by ten places from the time of 2019.


Saudi Arabia’s status soared up ten points to the 33rd position in the Travel and Tourism Development Index in 2021 on the whole rankings from 43rd in the year 2019.


This index is a two-yearly travel and tourism research that targets 117 countries on 17 categories that are important for the development and strength of Saudi’s travel and tourism industries.


The Saudi Cabinet also applauded the beginning of the construction effortat the Royal Arts Complex located at King Salman Park, which is expected to emerge as a major inspirationconsidering the culture and art in Riyadh.


The Cabinet was informedabout a telephone conversation between the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Prime Minister of Greece KyriakosMitsotakis. During the discussion, both parties talked about bilateral dealingsalong with opportunities for joint collaborationin a lot of areas.


The Saudi Cabinetpermitted a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Arabia governments and Pakistan in the arena of environment.


The Saudi Cabinet also approved the Minister of Culture or asecond-in-commandfor discussion with the side of Bahraini for a draft memorandum of understanding for collaborationin culture.
