SeaWorld Yas Island celebrates opening with a spectacular star-studded event

SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the region’s inaugural Marine Life Theme Park, has officially opened to the public, providing unforgettable experiences and immersive adventures for visitors of all ages. The star-studded opening celebrations on May 22 featured captivating performances by Emirati superstar Hussain Al Jassmi and Scottish recording artist Red, accompanied by a sensational orchestra of 120 musicians. The event showcased remarkable sound and light shows, dazzling the crowd and marking the inauguration of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.

Developed by Miral in collaboration with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is a next-generation theme park and a top global destination. Spanning five indoor levels across 183,000 square meters, the park tells a captivating One Ocean story through eight immersive realms. Guests can enjoy unique family-friendly experiences, including up-close animal encounters, presentations, entertainment, thrilling rides, and unmatched dining and shopping experiences.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi aims to promote environmental awareness, protect marine life, and inspire guests to care for and conserve our precious marine ecosystems. The park boasts 100 animal experiences and presentations, 10 up-close animal encounters, over 15 interactive rides and experiences, and more than 20 live performances and characters. Additionally, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi has achieved certification from Global Humane, becoming the first facility in the MENA region to receive this recognition for animal welfare.
