Seven Seas Mariner concludes season with NMPT arrival

The Seven Seas Mariner cruise liner’s arrival at NMPT on Sunday was noted as the culmination of the current tourist season, being the sixth and final vessel to dock at the port this cycle. The ship’s presence, with its 610 passengers and 440 crew members, injected a wave of enthusiasm into the local area.

Upon their arrival, the passengers received a warm reception featuring the traditional Tulunadu welcome, along with an array of cultural programs that highlighted the rich cultural tapestry of the region. In an effort to augment their visit, the tourists were afforded conveniences such as complimentary Wi-Fi access, a selfie stand, and transport services to facilitate their exploration of the local sights.

Throughout their stay, the visitors had the chance to discover several key attractions within the area. These included the Gomateshwara Hills in Karkala, the historic Thousand Pillar Basadi in Moodbidri, Soans Farm, the Achal Cashew Nut Factory, the revered Gokarnatheshwara Temple, the St. Aloysius Chapel, in addition to experiencing the local market and traditional homes within the district. This visit allowed tourists to gain a deeper understanding of the area’s heritage and attractions, providing them with a memorable experience of the locale’s unique offerings.
