The city of Tampa and Tampa Electric Company planning a wide range of solar array on the roof top of Tampa Convention Center, declared on Monday press conference.
TECO’S goal is planning to provide pure energy on the roof top which is 250,000 square feet that can hold the new solar array said by Jane Castor (Tampa Mayor).
Castor added more that there’s no other partner than TECO in the city of Tampa’s word to facilitate greenary and community which is sustained.
A very crucial step is been taken on the way to provide pure energy by the University of South Florida, The City of Tampa and TECO. They are planning further for new partnership goals.
To make a pure energy, city resources can be used and infrastructure should be climate friendly.
Main target is to achieve carbon emission neutrality by 2050 said by Archie Collins (TECO CEO). The strategy is to expense in the University of South Florida’s research into pure energy.
