Southwest’s sky-high surprise: ‘Trolls Band Together’ flight treats passengers to film trivia and giveaways

Southwest Airlines delighted passengers on a flight bound for New York City by presenting them with complimentary Fandango movie codes for the latest installment in DreamWorks Animation’s hit musical series, “Trolls Band Together.”

More than 140 passengers aboard Flight #663 from Dallas (Love Field) to New York (LaGuardia) were gifted digital Fandango codes, allowing them to redeem a ticket for the film. To add to the excitement, Southwest organized in-flight trivia, offering travelers the chance to win Trolls-themed prizes such as backpacks, beanies, mini character figures, and more.

This unexpected giveaway was part of the partnership between Southwest and DreamWorks, unveiled in October in anticipation of the release of “Trolls Band Together.” Beyond the flight experience, Southwest customers and Trolls enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the airline’s Trolls-themed plane, operational until January 31, 2024. Additionally, passengers can enjoy the previous chapters of the musical franchise, “Trolls” and “Trolls World Tour,” as well as an exclusive Southwest and “Trolls Band Together” collaboration video accessible through the Inflight Entertainment Portal on all Southwest flights.
