Spain is continuing to appeal to an increasing number of global travellers, with May this year witnessing a striking rush in the influx of air passengers.

As per info by Turespaña, Spain witnessed more than 8.8 million worldwide air travellers in May this year,
registering a noteworthy upsurge of 13.9% when compared to the equivalent month in 2022.

This constructive tendency has been constant all through the year, with Spain greeting a total of 34
million tourists during the initial five months, exhibiting an extraordinary progress of 28.8% compared to the similar period in 2022.

Héctor Gómez, the Spanish Minister of Industry, Trade, and Tourism, showed his happiness with these facts, saying that these figure validate the exceptional act of Spain’s tourism segment during the first half of 2023.
