In a gesture of appreciation, STARLUX CEO Glenn Chai put forward a model of the STARLUX Airlines A350 aircraft to the Director of Aviation Marketing and Development, Melissa Andretta of San Francisco International Airport. The opening of its second US destination and SFO-TPE route emphasizes the peak of an extraordinary series of milestones for STARLUX.
STARLUX Airlines, Taiwan-based luxury carrier, increases its U.S. network with the introduction of nonstop flights from San Francisco to Taipei from December 16th. This planned new route highlights the second U.S. gateway of the airline after Los Angeles, providing U.S. travelers a direct entryway to Taipei and continuous connectivity to 20 Asian destinations. STARLUX highlighted this event with an opening ceremony and pre-flight celebrations before the 11:40 p.m. departure.
This milestone not only underlines the commitment of STARLUX to grow its U.S. network, but lays the basis for its growth route as well with plans for new long-haul intercontinental routes crisscrossing Europe, North America, and Oceania.
At present, STARLUX flies one of its four next-generation A350 three times in a week between San Francisco International Airport and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, Flight JX011 will leave San Francisco at 11:40 p.m. and enter Taipei at 5:30 a.m. after two days.
