Strong demand for overseas holidays in the UK

In the 12 months to August this year, 52% of the UK populace embarked on a trip overseas.

They went on an average of 1.4 trips overseas each, in agreement with characteristic before the pandemic standards in the span of the last 10 years.

This desire for travel appears to stay robust next year. Almost two-thirds (64%) of people stated that they aspire to embark on a trip abroad in the upcoming 12 months.

Among those who went for an overseas tour in the year before, 61% embarked on a package trip.

The price remaining the chief incentive for selecting this way to book.

People said that they reserved a package. It was the finest value choice for the amount increased to 42% vis-a-vis 34% last year.

A third (33%) stated that they reserved a package since they looked for a comprehensive trip, increasing from 28% who said the same in 2022.

Reasonable estimating also remained among the highest causes for reservation with a travel expert.

Of the 35% of people who reserved a trip overseas with a travel expert in the last 12 months, those quoting value for money as their motive behind doing so went up substantially to 38% from 26% in 2022.
