Sun Country Airlines Launches Minneapolis/St. Paul to William P. Hobby Airport Direct Flights, Fares from $59

Starting in spring 2024, Sun Country Airlines (NASDAQ: SNCY) will inaugurate direct flights between Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota (MSP) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), diverging from their previous route to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). With one-way fares from MSP to HOU priced as low as $59, this change aims to bolster air connectivity to Hobby Airport.

This transition amplifies Hobby Airport’s air service, marking a significant expansion from last year when it collaborated with five airlines. Presently, the airport has welcomed Sun Country Airlines and Avelo Airlines in the current year, elevating the total number of airlines to seven—a historic high for Hobby Airport.

Sun Country passengers are now offered access to eight fresh domestic seasonal nonstop routes originating from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), connecting to:

• Billings Logan International Airport (BIL), Montana
• Boise Airport (BOI), Idaho
• Dulles International Airport (IAD), Virginia/Washington, D.C.
• Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), Grand Rapids, Michigan
• Missoula Montana Airport (MSO), Montana
• Oakland International Airport (OAK), California
• Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), New York
