Sunny campaign to drive region’s recent winter tourism

Sunny by name and nature -that’s the way the region will be delivered to all the important tourism markets as the winters advancing.


Recently, Visit Sunshine Coast has introduced its campaign with the name – Sunshine Moments For Real in Victoria, New South Wales, and New Zealand.


First Sunshine Moments was introduced in October last year. The CEO of Visit Sunshine Coast, Matt Stoeckel, said that this was the largest campaign this place would witness for one whole year.


He also added that the campaign is about telling again their southern neighbors what’s so extraordinary about a journey to the Sunshine Coast before their quieter times over winter.


For the ones living down south, a journey to the Sunshine Coast over winter requires no mental effort, where the temperatures of water remain higher than what they during summers in Melbourne.


Ben Sullivan, Newport Mooloolaba Apartments manager, said that the campaign was planned to fill-up the positions over the approaching winters.


Mr Sullivan said that campaigns like this not only can be a major surprise behind marketing the Sunshine Coast brand and destination but perk up bookings as well to their business to put heads on beds.


This campaign will be conducted in the lead-up to Air New Zealand commencing once again direct seasonal flight operations between Auckland and the Sunshine Coast, starting from June 25 to October 15.
