During the Chinese New Year festival, Suvarnabhumi International Airport anticipates a total of 2.36 million passengers, reflecting a notable surge compared to the previous year. The festival, spanning from February 4th to 16th, is expected to witness an average daily influx of approximately 182,000 individuals.

In order to accommodate the increased passenger volume, the airport has scheduled nearly 13,000 flights, including additional services offered by 10 different airlines. To enhance the experience for Chinese travelers, various measures are being implemented, such as the provision of interpreters and the incorporation of Chinese-language signage.

The breakdown of passenger estimates indicates around 1.94 million international passengers, encompassing both arrivals and departures, along with approximately 417,000 domestic passengers. This projection signifies a substantial 32.73% upswing from the corresponding figures recorded during the previous year’s festival.
