A Year of Radiance: Radisson Collection Hotel Celebrates 35 Years with Spectacular Light Show

The Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels, is set to host an extraordinary exhibition titled “A Year of Radiance” from February 15th to 18th. This event marks the hotel’s 35th anniversary and coincides with the Lunar Year of the Dragon celebrations, featuring a captivating video projection across its seven-story atrium.

Established in 1989 and celebrated for its unique post-modernist architecture, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels, remains a cornerstone of culture and art in Brussels. In collaboration with Visit Brussels, the hotel is a proud participant in the 2024 Bright Brussels Festival, an event that illuminates the city for four enchanting nights. The festival takes attendees on a luminous journey through the Royal and European Quarters, showcasing thirty artistic installations from international creators, offering a fresh perspective on Brussels.

Embracing its reputation for fostering local art and cultural experiences, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels, serves as a vibrant meeting spot for both locals and international visitors. Its prime location on the festival’s path allows guests to witness a transformative art installation in the hotel’s iconic atrium, brought to life by a dynamic light show that highlights the building’s distinctive architecture. This installation, a collaboration with the Belgian company D-Mines, draws inspiration from nature and Chinese culture, celebrating the Lunar Year of the Dragon and the hotel’s significant milestone.

Additionally, the hotel’s renowned Shanghai Kitchen restaurant will celebrate with a special Chinese New Year menu on Fridays and Saturdays throughout February. Guests can also enjoy the “Hong Long” cocktail, a festive blend of Baijiu, vodka, lime, and grenadine, inspired by the Year of the Dragon. The Shanghai Kitchen offers a culinary journey to Shanghai, reimagining Chinese street food and Shanghainese dishes with a sophisticated flair.

The Radisson Collection, Grand Place Brussels, eagerly anticipates welcoming the estimated 400,000 visitors to the Bright Brussels event, inviting them to partake in this unique celebration from February 15th to 18th, 2024.
