Switzerland debuts Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sion, offering modern comfort, eco-friendly design, and prime access to ski resorts and cultural landmarks.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites has officially launched its first-ever location in Switzerland with the opening of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sion, developed in collaboration with Cycas Hospitality. This new property is part of Cour de Gare, the most significant urban development project in the region, which will introduce over 5,700 square meters of retail space, residential units, office buildings, public parking, and a large-scale concert and conference center.

Located in the historic city of Sion—the capital of the Valais region and one of the oldest cities in Switzerland—the hotel offers easy access to the world-famous 4 Vallées ski area. This expansive winter sports destination connects popular resorts including Verbier, Bruson, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, and Thyon/Les Collons, boasting a combined 410 kilometers of slopes. Positioned near this alpine playground and adjacent to a bustling new entertainment hub, the hotel is set to cater to winter sports enthusiasts, business travelers, and guests attending concerts and events alike.

Built in line with Switzerland’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sion holds Minergie certification—a hallmark of eco-conscious construction.
