In April 2024, air passenger traffic in Latin America and the Caribbean surged by 7.4%, with a total of 38.8 million passengers, marking an increase of 2.7 million from the previous year. The international market experienced a significant boost, growing by 10% to 18.3 million passengers. The top five countries for international travel were Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Panama.
