DET launches ‘Dubai Sustainable ‘Tourism Stamp’ to recognise hotels with the highest adherence to sustainability.

Dubai’s stature as a global meetings incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) destination continues to soar with the city registering a strong year-on-year growth of 44% in business event bid wins in the first half of 2023.

With 50 strategically placed public water fountains across the city, Dubai is leading the charge in championing a refill culture, resulting in a substantial reduction of millions of single-use plastic water bottles.

ATM 2023 was held in conjunction with Dubai World Trade Centre, and its strategic partners include Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) as the Destination Partner, Emirates as the Official Airline Partner, IHG Hotels & Resorts as the Official Hotel Partner and Al Rais Travel as the Official DMC Partner.

More than 122 partners and representatives from government entities, hotels, destination management companies and tour operators will join DET at an expanded Dubai stand at ATM 2023 to welcome and interact with visitors to the region’s leading travel event.

The leading B2B travel exhibition in the Middle East, ATM 2023 will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 1 to 4.

This year marks Dubai’s 31st exhibit at ITB Berlin, reinforcing the emirate’s commitment to the German market and travellers.

80 percent of the 340 fine-dining restaurants in the UAE are in the UAE. This means there are 272 fine-dining restaurants in Dubai.

India’s tourism sector is a key focus at the ongoing Arabian Travel Market 2022 (ATM) in Dubai which features 1,500 exhibitors, representatives from 158 global destinations, and an anticipated 20,000 attendees.
