TAP Air Portugal introduces new flights from North America

This summer, TAP Air Portugal is expanding its service by introducing 10 additional weekly flights to Lisbon from North America. The airline will now operate 77 weekly flights from the United States to Portugal, an increase of five flights compared to the previous year, and 20 weekly flights from Canada, marking an increase of five flights from the summer of 2023.

In the United States, there are now two flights a day from Washington/Dulles an increase of four flights weekly year over year. An additional flight is also being added from San Francisco; now there are up to six flights a week to Lisbon.

In Canada, an additional four weekly flights will be added from Toronto, compared to the summer of 2023, bringing the total to 14 flights a week. An additional flight from Montreal to Lisbon will also be added, now increasing to six flights per week.

TAP has made a clear commitment to modernizing its fleet and offering the best product in the sector for its customers. The Portuguese airline operates one of the youngest fleets in the world, with all Airbus’ next generation NEO aircraft: A330neo, A321LR, A320neo and A321neo, with superior efficiency and reduced emission levels. TAP also operates 19 Embraer aircraft in its regional fleet (TAP Express).
TAP is considered by Airline Ratings to be the safest airline in Europe and the sixth safest in the world. The airline has been named the Best Airline in Europe for 13 consecutive years by the readers of Global Traveler magazine.

For travel beyond Lison, TAP is also resuming its seasonal operations to popular holiday destinations such as Porto Santo, Alicante, Ibiza, Menorca, Palma de Mallorca, and Naples.
