In 2024, MSC Cruises introduces a unique culinary voyage around the globe, featuring the expertise of three distinguished celebrity chefs on board MSC Poesia. This announcement made on Wednesday reveals an epic journey that encompasses 52 stops across 31 nations during its three-month span.

Passengers of this year’s Global Expedition will have the privilege of indulging in elevated dining experiences, meticulously prepared by a trio of celebrated chefs. These culinary masters will present menus ranging from three to four courses, each a reflection of their exceptional global culinary styles. The esteemed chefs participating include:

• Reuben Riffel, a celebrated chef, restaurateur, and media figure from South Africa, will delight passengers with dishes infused with local flavors, offering a culinary tour that includes cape spiced pickled fish, peppered Karoo lamb, and malva pudding.
• Allan Vila Espejo, a seasoned Brazilian chef and restaurateur, will introduce guests to traditional Brazilian fare, featuring Manioc soup, Bahia-style fish stew accompanied by vegetables and coconut milk, and a classic Brazilian chocolate coconut cake.

Setting sail in January 2026, this expedition will cover 47 extraordinary sites in 32 countries, offering explorations of Europe’s most famed cities, the Caribbean, Central America, the USA’s West Coast, Asia, and concluding with a return via Greece.
