Thai Airways Gears Up for Growth, Adds 3 Boeing 787-9s from Air Lease Corporation

Air Lease Corporation announces leasing 3 Boeing 787-9 jets to Thai Airways for 2025 delivery, signaling growth and future plans within the aviation industry.

Air Lease Corporation today disclosed the signing of long-term leasing contracts for three Boeing 787-9 planes with Thai Airways International. These Dreamliner jets, part of ALC’s existing orders from Boeing, are scheduled for delivery to the airline in 2025.

“We are pleased to announce this transaction for three new Boeing 787-9 aircraft with new customer, Thai Airways International,” said Steven F. Udvar-Házy, Executive Chairman of Air Lease Corporation. “ALC is honored to add these three Dreamliner aircraft to Thai Airways’ growing widebody fleet and we look forward to a long-term relationship with the airline.”
