Thailand, Vietnam, and Bali attract UK tourists with TUI’s luxurious resorts and improved travel connectivity, making them top holiday destinations.

TUI, a leading name in global travel, is doubling down on its presence in Asia, with ambitious plans to launch more hotels across the region. The company, already well-established in Thailand, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, has recently expanded its portfolio into Vietnam, Malaysia, and China, marking a significant milestone in its growth strategy.

Sebastian Ebel, TUI’s Chief Executive, highlighted Asia’s appeal, describing it as a “highly attractive” market. He stated, “We cater to European guests seeking holidays in the Far East while also drawing travelers from within Asia to explore the region.”

Central to TUI’s expansion is the introduction of its new luxury brand, The Mora, debuting in Bali, Indonesia. In response to a remarkable 35% rise in demand, the company has also added more flights to Thailand this winter, with further increases planned for 2025.

Vietnam, recognized as the most affordable long-haul destination in the latest Post Office Report, is a key focus of TUI’s growth. Peter Krueger, TUI’s Chief Executive of Holiday Experiences, shared the company’s vision to “double the number of hotels in Asia” over the next few years. Currently operating 18 hotels in the region, TUI aims to add 22 more by 2027, creating an expansive network of top-tier accommodations.

For adventurers seeking destinations beyond Europe, TUI’s offerings continue to impress. The company reintroduced flights to Senegal in 2022 after a decade-long hiatus, solidifying its position as the sole UK operator providing direct connections to this emerging African hotspot. Senegal is even predicted to become a major travel trend for 2025.

TUI has also expanded its safari experiences, blending beach escapes in Kenya with thrilling wildlife encounters. Meanwhile, destinations like Cape Verde and Zanzibar are capturing the attention of British tourists, with North Africa seeing a surge in popularity. Egypt, in particular, is now a more budget-friendly alternative to Spain for UK travelers.

With its bold expansion across Asia and Africa, TUI continues to redefine travel, offering unforgettable experiences for holidaymakers worldwide.
