The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort rejoices 27th Annual Coral Reef Swim

The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort, located on the scenic shorelines of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, happily functioned as the last stop of the 27th Annual Coral Reef Swim on November 12 this year. A global domain of approximately 200 swimmers took part in the five-, two-, and one-mile open-water swims.

The competitions started at numerous sites on the island, and the five-mile contest started at Buck Island Reef National Monument. The two-mile race begun at Pull Point, with the one-mile swim at Shoy’s Beach. The three competitions functioned synchronously and concluded at the palm-shaded shorelines of Mermaid Beach at The Buccaneer.

Founded in 1996 by Elizabeth Armstrong, the possessor of The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort, along with her friend Kim Rice Sanford, the Coral Reef Swim Race has turn out to be one of the leading open-water happenings in the Caribbean region.
