The recent completion of the METRONET Ellenbrook Station was announced, representing a significant achievement in the Cook Labor Government’s endeavor to construct a 21-kilometre rail line to Ellenbrook. The station boasts a range of modern amenities aimed at improving commuter convenience, including a 12-stand bus interchange, ample parking with 500 bays, and a 150-metre sheltered island platform that is equipped with seating and accessible facilities for passengers. Moreover, Ellenbrook Station has been recognized for its environmental design, receiving a five-star Green Star Design Review Rating. This is in part due to the incorporation of 200 solar panels and 10 electric vehicle charging bays into its design, underscoring a commitment to sustainability.
