Britain saw catastrophic losses at the beginning of the New Year due to a certain storm named Henk. People are still attempting to get over the shock that they endured as a result of the harrowing event.

This led to a power outage along with the blockage of bridges, roads, and rail lines. Several properties in Lincolnshire were flooded as a result of the storm.

The largest gust was recorded at Devon’s Exeter Airport, reaching 81 mph.

The scaffolding collapse in Greenwich caused numerous injuries. The state of affairs under Storm Henk’s perpetration shocked people and put them in a state of horror.

The ENA, or Energy Networks Association, is instrumental in collecting data from energy providers and recorded that approximately 38,000 customers were without power as of January 2, led by the storm.

The ENA, which collates data from all energy providers, estimated that 38,000 customers were without power as of 19:00 GMT on Tuesday due to damage from the storm.

In a Northamptonshire holiday park, nearly a hundred caravan owners were forced to evacuate due to the storm.

Due to excessive rainfall, the River Severn in Worcester also flooded, saturating the waterways.

South Western Railway requested that the passengers not use its services because of the catastrophic weather. In addition, Thameslink told the passengers to refrain from travelling unless deemed necessary. However, this storm perpetrated by Storm Henk was finally restored by the reconnection of 100,000 power supplies during the course of the day.

When a guy saw a car getting drowned with a three-year-old child in it as a result of flooding, he rushed into the scene and rescued them both. This took place in Hall Green, Birmingham and the West Midlands Police police told the media about the scene

The Energy Network Operations is working tirelessly to restore operations and dissipate the state of shock as a result of Storm Henk.
