In a bold move that merges high fashion with family-friendly luxury, The Ritz-Carlton has unveiled a new line that redefines hotel fashion. This playful yet elegant collection, which includes everything from chic apparel to exclusive accessories, encapsulates the essence of timeless sophistication while embracing the comfort and fun that families crave. With the iconic late checkout perk inspiring the concept, The Ritz-Carlton is proving that luxury is not just about the destination but the experience itself—an experience that is as stylish, comfortable, and enduring as the brand itself. This new line marks a unique step forward, pushing the boundaries of traditional hotel merchandise while seamlessly blending fashion with the art of relaxation and adventure.

The Ritz-Carlton is elevating its legacy of luxury hospitality by embracing the modern luxury lifestyle with the launch of its second collaboration with the Madrid-based fashion brand, Late Checkout. What started as a bold fusion of elegance and rebellion, recognized with a prestigious Gold Cannes Lions award, now evolves into a new chapter. This latest collection broadens its offerings to include accessories, loungewear, and children’s apparel, showcasing The Ritz-Carlton’s timeless charm across generations, while embodying Late Checkout’s vision of hotels as dynamic spaces where style and storytelling converge. The collection’s navy, ivory, and light blue color scheme pays tribute to The Ritz-Carlton’s storied history while capturing Late Checkout’s signature sense of fun.

“This next chapter deepens our shared story with Late Checkout. The Ritz-Carlton has grown to meet travelers across every journey: whether on safari, at sea, in nature, or in our city and resort hotels; this collection now touches more facets of that lifestyle. With family pieces and travel-ready accessories, it reflects our natural evolution as a brand, while keeping the wit and craftsmanship that made people embrace the collaboration from the start,” said Jamie Kerr, Global Head of Brand and Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton.

The collection blends reimagined classics with clever twists, striking a balance between refined elegance and playful irreverence, staying true to Late Checkout’s distinctive style. Standout pieces include airy knits featuring The Ritz-Carlton’s iconic lion emblem, and velvet Sukajan jackets with eye-catching embroidery. A fresh loungewear selection redefines comfort for evening wear, offering shawl-collar robes inspired by tuxedos and flowing cotton pajama sets. New kids’ apparel makes its debut with rugby polos, tees, and caps crafted from premium cotton. The home range, which includes throws and umbrellas, carries the same quirky appeal. A newly introduced globe motif, evoking vintage travel icons, symbolizes both adventure and progress, aligning with the global ethos of both brands. The beloved baseball caps, now a signature item, make a return as an essential accessory. Collectively, these pieces embody a vision of aspirational yet approachable style, with meticulous craftsmanship paired with an element of fun.

“Working with The Ritz-Carlton a second time gave us the chance to take the story further,” said Alex Turrión, Creative Director of Late CheckoutThis chapter feels larger in every sense: more cinematic, more layered, and more personal. Japan gave us a backdrop that allowed the narrative to expand, and with it, the collection itself. It’s still rooted in hotels, still tongue-in-cheek, but now it touches every part of travel, from family to home. For us, that’s the most exciting part: showing how this world can grow without losing the spirit that made people connect with it the first time.”

The Film: The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko as a Cinematic Playground

Directed by Rogelio González and produced by Little Spain, the latest campaign places Josh Hutcherson at the heart of a surreal journey at The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko. Nestled among towering mountains, lush forests, and shimmering lakes, Nikko becomes more than just a backdrop—it’s an essential part of the story. Its tranquil environment, where time seems to stretch and slow, profoundly shapes the film’s tone, creating an atmosphere of quiet yet powerful intensity. This serene energy perfectly complements the refined luxury of The Ritz-Carlton while allowing for the playful edge of Late Checkout to emerge. Accompanying this film, photographer Javier Ruiz captures its cinematic depth and raw emotion through his lens.

In collaboration with Late Checkout, Little Spain, and Hutcherson, a compelling narrative unfolds, blending contrasts with ease—where classic luxury meets cheeky irreverence and calmness dances with spontaneous energy. Although romance wasn’t initially part of the script, the on-set chemistry between Hutcherson and his co-star brought an unexpected emotional depth to the story. Hutcherson played a vital role in shaping the film’s rhythm and mood, working hand-in-hand with González to ensure the final result was a true reflection of Nikko’s unique spirit.

“What excites me about this project is how it keeps evolving,” said Josh Hutcherson. “The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko gave us an entirely new energy. It’s stylish, funny, and cinematic in a way that feels true to both brands while still being surprising.”
