To develop tourism, Nepal keen to cooperate with Egypt

Suresh Adhikari, Culture and Tourism Secretary, Nepal, has showed his commitment to offer required help to all bilateral tourism development between Egypt and his country, i.e. Nepal.


While taking part in a conversation in Cairo, between the tour and travel operators of both the countries, he stated that the government was all prepared for the development and expansion of tourism. It’s a priority sector for the development of Nepal.


In the same way, Mr. Sushil Kumar Lamsal, Nepali ambassador to Egypt, said that in tourism, there was tremendous possibility for partnership between the two countries that have age old civilizations furnished with cultural and natural loveliness.


Mr. Ahmed Ali, the general manager of Egypt Tourism Authority, said that on an informational tour, the authority was quite interested to greet Nepali travel agents.


Mr. Sunil Sharma, the senior manager of the Nepal Tourism Board, and Kumar Mani Thapaliya, the general secretary of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents, made a presentation on the tourism sector of Nepal and the bilateral tourism development prospect of Nepal-Egypt.


From Egypt and Nepal, over 20 legislative body members related to the travel and tour companies took part in the program.
