Moscow is set to host the premier water sports event of 2024, with Tourism Malaysia excited to participate in the Dive Show 2024 from February 8 to 11 at Gostiniy Dvor, located in Moscow’s exhibition district. Eager to showcase Malaysia’s underwater marvels, Tourism Malaysia invites diving aficionados to discover why Malaysia is a must-visit for divers.

Renowned for its diverse marine life, ranging from majestic large fish to fascinating macro creatures, Malaysia offers dive sites that cater to both novice and experienced divers. Iconic locations such as Sipadan Island, Mabul Island, Redang Island, Perhentian Island, and Tioman Island promise an unparalleled diving experience amidst untouched natural beauty.

With a wealth of dive centres and protected natural reserves, Malaysia attracts divers worldwide, dedicated to conserving its coral reefs for a unique and endangered marine life experience. The accessibility of Malaysia’s dive sites ensures that both beginners and advanced divers find spots suited to their skill levels.

Deputy Director of Tourism Malaysia’s Moscow office, Mr. Zulkifli Bin Mohamed, stated, “Malaysia is a preferred destination for diving tourists, with diving tourism being a key highlight of our offerings. We are dedicated to maintaining the ecological integrity of our marine parks, which are sanctuaries for some of the world’s rarest marine species. We are keen to introduce these wonders to both seasoned divers and those new to the sport.” Visitors can also enjoy secluded beaches, jungle exploration, and Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity.

Tourism Malaysia welcomes everyone to visit their booth (C3/1) at Dive Show 2024 to learn more about Malaysia’s breathtaking underwater world. The surge in Russian tourists to Malaysia, reaching 100,645 between January and November 2023—a 360% increase from 2022—highlights Malaysia’s growing appeal.

Looking ahead to Visit Malaysia Year in 2026, Tourism Malaysia is set to attract 27.3 million tourists and aims for RM102.7 billion in tourism revenue in 2024, with an ambitious goal of 35.6 million international visitors for 2026. Dive into Malaysia’s extraordinary underwater landscapes and experience the vibrant beauty of its marine life. For more information, please visit Malaysia.travel.
