Trip.com and AirAsia Collaborate to Revolutionize the Travel Experience with Innovative Solutions

Trip.com Group, a leading worldwide travel service provider, entered into an extensive strategic partnership with Capital A Berhad, the holding company for the budget carrier AirAsia. This alliance encompasses a broad range of collaborative efforts across various business sectors including flight bookings, hotel reservations, attractions, car services, and financial transactions.

This partnership marks the enhancement of a previously established alliance in 2020, aiming to deepen the cooperative relationship between the two entities. Together, they will focus on extending AirAsia’s presence and diversifying its services through the innovative offerings of Trip.com Group, such as advanced merchandising techniques and the Virtual Interline product.

The collaboration is set to raise service standards and enhance product quality for customers through joint efforts, particularly in customer support between Trip.com Group and AirAsia. Additionally, TripLink will furnish the AirAsia Aviation Group with advanced payment solutions, thereby generating additional value for both parties. This initiative will not only allow AirAsia to achieve cost savings but also to deliver greater value to its patrons.

AirAsia’s inventory and growth plans are focused on China and then getting Trip.com Group’s customer base into ASEAN, while AirAsia MOVE will collaborate on Trip.com Group hotel inventory and offer MOVE activities, tickets, and ride collaborations for Trip.com Group users.
