Trip.com Group Secures Spot on Prestigious Fortune Asia Future 30 List for Innovation and Growth

Acknowledged for its significant growth potential, Trip.com Group, a prominent player in the global travel industry, has earned a spot on the Fortune Asia Future 30 list. This distinction highlights 30 companies based in Asia that have shown outstanding innovation, setting them up for strong growth over the next five years.

The selection process for the Asia Future 30 involved reviewing around 700 publicly traded companies from the Asia-Pacific area, focusing on those with a market value or revenue reaching $10 billion by the end of 2022. Criteria included market potential and the ability to realize it, with a special emphasis on strategy, technology, investment, personnel, and organizational structure, evaluated through a machine learning algorithm designed to forecast five-year growth potential.

The recognition was part of the Fortune Innovation Forum 2024 held in Hong Kong, with key figures like Clay Chandler, Eddy Yip from Trip.com, and Fang Ruan from BCG participating in the award ceremony.

Trip.com Group’s recognition is timely as it seizes growth opportunities in 2024, leveraging trends in experiential tourism and sustainability. Its product expansion, technological advancements, and commitment to diversity are integral to its industry leadership.

Marking nearly 25 years of operation, Trip.com Group reported a remarkable 122% increase in net revenue in 2023 compared to the previous year, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. The company has enriched its offerings, including unique hotel experiences, and embraced sustainability, with initiatives like the low-carbon hotel standard in China.

Technological innovation remains a cornerstone of Trip.com Group’s strategy. The AI assistant TripGenie and the Trip.Vision app on Apple Vision Pro exemplify its commitment to enhancing travel experiences through technology, from itinerary planning to virtual reality explorations.

Diversity and inclusion are also central to Trip.com Group’s ethos, with significant representation of women in leadership and initiatives supporting work-life balance for employees.
