Trip.com expands portfolio with Amadeus mobility for enhanced global travel experience

By integrating Amadeus Mobility into its suite of solutions, Trip.com, an international online travel conglomerate, has expanded its offering of Amadeus content to encompass Mobility on both the Trip.com and Trip.Biz platforms, beyond just Air and Hotel Distribution. This enhancement will leverage Amadeus’ advanced technology and functionality to deliver a more cohesive and comprehensive travel experience for users across each platform.

The partnership with Amadeus Mobility brings significant advantages for both leisure and business travelers by augmenting the array of mobility solutions accessible to them. This includes access to car rental options through Amadeus Cars Web Services, which provides real-time pricing from more than 50 car rental agencies across over 40,000 global locations. Trip.com will now emphasize mobility solutions tailored for leisure travelers, while Trip.Biz, the digital Travel Management Company (TMC) powered by the Trip.com Group, will feature offerings from global car rental services designed to meet the demands of business travelers.

For both Trip.com and its subsidiary Trip.Biz, this announcement marks a crucial development. The inclusion of Amadeus Cars’ comprehensive database into their operations will streamline workflow, open new revenue streams, and offer travelers the seamless experience of planning and booking their travels that is increasingly sought after in today’s market.
